Why this role matters<\/strong> <\/p>\n

As a direct report to the Head of Investment within the CIO team, the Senior Investment Analyst will be part the Investments, Governance and Investor Relations team where you play a key role in driving financial analysis and valuation support to the Corporate Development team in relation to the viability of business development and M&A projects, as well as broader analysis of JNbp\u2019s broader portfolio of projects. Furthermore, you will also be taking supportive roles in executing asset and corporate M&A and partnership transactions globally to help drive JERA Nex bp\u2019s ambitious growth strategy across Europe, UK and Asia-Pacific. <\/p>\n

\n

In this role you will<\/strong>: <\/p>\n

\n

\u00b7        Support the Investment, Governance and Investor Relations Team and the Corporate Development Team of JERA Nex bp in optimizing value across its portfolio of projects.<\/p>\n

\u00b7        Lead financial modelling work, develop and maintain quantitative and qualitative analyses for prospective business development projects, acquisition opportunities or divestments of offshore wind assets \/ projects or companies.<\/p>\n

\u00b7        Evaluate and challenge inputs to investment decisions, especially those inputs that are key to valuation results including identifying key value drivers.<\/p>\n

\u00b7        Effectively communicate results and provide support to ensure informed senior management decisions and that financial impacts are understood by all internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\u00b7        Lead dedicated due diligence, valuation and workstreams in assessment of various M&A and partnership opportunities. <\/p>\n

\u00b7        Support the investment approval process including liaising with senior management and the Development Committee of JERA Nex bp.<\/p>\n

To be successful in the role you will bring<\/strong>: <\/p>\n

\u00b7        High-level of intellectual curiosity, positive attitude and willingness to take responsibility and contribute to a dynamic and ambitious organisation where your individual performance will make a significant difference.<\/p>\n

\u00b7        3-5 years of experience with complex corporate and asset-level financial modelling and valuation within renewable energy or broader energy infrastructure sectors.<\/p>\n

\u00b7        Solid understanding of relevant corporate and project finance, accounting and tax matters.<\/p>\n

\u00b7        Experience in preparing investment analysis, presentations and decision papers and presenting those to relevant internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\u00b7        Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in dealing with senior professionals, consultants and investment banks.<\/p>\n
