This is a new role focusing on our high-value partner relationships, so there’s lots of scope to make it your own. We’ve been testing this internally to validate the vertical, and now we’re looking for a more focused hire to accelerate it.<\/p>\n
The role is designed to be the first point of contact for our most valuable merchants – and prospective merchants. The gap between ‘I’m interested’ and a high wallet share is where we unlock our growth. This role owns closing that gap for our highest-potential merchants.<\/p>\n
A book of roughly 50\u2013100 merchants \u2014 hotels, hostels, tour operators, dive shops, retreats across Latin America, Africa and Asia. For each one:<\/p>\n
Onboarding them properly, so Tab becomes the default rather than one of several payment options<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Getting them integrated with their booking system where possible \u2014 integrated merchants transact more and stay longer<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Increase wallet share by working with them to use our full range of features<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Spotting merchants going quiet and getting them back before a slow season becomes a lost account<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Expanding into second properties, sister businesses and group accounts<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
You’ll focus on adoption and churn prevention, and will have the scope to work with our product team to ensure ideas get turned into reality.<\/p>\n
2\u20135 years in account management or partner success in travel or hospitality \u2014 OTA supply teams, tour operator or property software, or hands-on operations at a hostel, tour company or dive centre<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
You love building relationships with customers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Fluent Spanish (for our LATAM merchants!)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
SQL – you can pull and read your own data to monitor account health, rather than waiting on an analyst<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Comfortable being the person who owns an outcome rather than working a queue<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
You don’t need a payments background. You’ll learn that here, and we’ll support you on the payments side while you build that up.<\/p>\n
