Working hand-in-hand with Account Executives, you&rsquo;ll own everything that happens before the contract is signed \u2014 technical discovery, tailored demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and the technical content of RFP\/RFI and security responses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"min-height: 1.7em\">\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000\">This role is key to converting our largest, most complex prospects \u2014 dioceses, regional church bodies, and multi-parish organisations \u2014 by proving ChurchDesk meets their functional, security, and compliance requirements. Once a deal is won, you&rsquo;ll partner with the Enterprise Project Manager and CSMs to ensure a clean handover into rollout.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"min-height: 1.7em\">\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000\">You&rsquo;ll be part of the Enterprise team, reporting to the Head of Enterprise, with monthly 1:1s and weekly check-ins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"min-height: 1.7em\">\n<h4>About your new role<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Lead technical discovery with prospects<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\"> \u2014 digging into their current infrastructure, data, and workflows to understand where processes break down, not just what they say they want.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Design and build prospect-specific demo environments <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">using their own terminology, structures, and use cases, showing exactly what daily life on ChurchDesk would look like.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Set up and run scoped proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\"> that validate security, performance, and functional fit ahead of contract signature.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Own the technical response to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">(encryption, GDPR, hosting, API limits) as the central technical point of contact, working closely with the AE.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Secure the \u00ab\u00a0technical win\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\"> by getting IT, security, and data-protection stakeholders to formally confirm ChurchDesk meets their requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Document technical commitments, constraints, and dependencies<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">, and hand over a clean, accurate technical picture to the Enterprise Project Manager and CSM \u2014 ensuring what was sold is what gets delivered.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Act as the prospect&rsquo;s Trusted Technical Advisor<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\"> and the deal&rsquo;s technical conscience throughout the sales cycle, giving honest and accurate answers even when it means surfacing limitations early.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h4>Skills &amp; Requirements<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Proven track record in a pre-sales, Solutions Engineering, or technical sales role<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">, ideally with enterprise or complex B2B deals.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Strong technical discovery skills <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">\u2014 able to dig into infrastructure, data, and workflows to uncover real problems, not just stated requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Hands-on experience building tailored product demos<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\"> and running proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Working knowledge of security, data protection, and compliance topics<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\"> (encryption, GDPR, hosting, API limits), with the ability to answer RFP\/RFI questionnaires accurately.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Confident in engaging directly with IT, security, and data-protection stakeholders<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">, building technical credibility and trust.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Excellent communication and documentation skills<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">, with a high degree of integrity \u2014 able to translate findings into clear handovers and give honest answers, even when they surface limitations.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#000000\">Fluent in German and English<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#000000\"> (spoken and written);
