The role sits at the intersection of legal practice and legal technology, with meaningful equity upside.<\/p>\n<h3>What You&rsquo;ll Do<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"min-height:1.5em\">\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Bring your portable client book onto a proprietary AI agent platform and continue serving your existing clients.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Act as the market-facing credibility driver, generating top-of-funnel opportunities through your PE\/VC and mid-market network.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Cross-sell commercial and compliance services into your existing client base.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Collaborate with the founding team to migrate recurring matters onto the AI platform for automation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Help drive firm growth toward a Series A\/B funding milestone.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"min-height:1.5em\">\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">12 or more years of experience as a partner-level attorney at a recognised, top-ranked German law firm, with a track record of building and managing a portable client book of \u20ac1M or more.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">German-qualified Volljurist with active bar admission as Rechtsanwalt.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Strong network in private equity, venture capital, and mid-market companies, with demonstrated cross-sell potential across commercial and compliance work.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Client book weighted toward PE\/VC clients and their portfolio companies, including recurring and automatable work such as commercial contracts, IT and data, corporate\/VC advisory, or regulatory matters (not litigation-only).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Diversified client base across multiple sectors and company sizes, not dependent on a small number of large institutions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Feasible transition path: notice period and client migration achievable within approximately six months, with no restrictive non-competes blocking book portability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Native-level German for client work; professional English fluency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Hands-on experience using AI tools such as large language model assistants or legal AI platforms in daily practice.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Dr. iur. or LL.M. qualification preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Germany-based and work-authorised; no visa sponsorship available.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Compensation and Benefits<\/h3>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">Base compensation of <strong>\u20ac200,000 to \u20ac300,000 annually<\/strong>, plus meaningful equity in a technology-oriented legal business. Visa sponsorship is not available.<\/p>\n<h3>Location<\/h3>\n<p style=\"min-height:1.5em\">The role is based in <strong>Berlin, Germany<\/strong> with a hybrid work arrangement.
